Directed by Anurag Singh, the film continues the legacy of honouring the bravery, sacrifice, and indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers. Staying true to the emotional and action-driven core of the original film, Border 2 promises a powerful journey filled with patriotism and courage.     The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on January 23, 2026. After the massive success of Gadar 2 in 2023, Sunny Deol earlier spoke about why Border 2 took time to come together. Speaking on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, he said, “Ye hum bahut pehle karne wale the, 2015 mein. Par phir meri picture nahi chali, toh log ghabra ke nahi banana chah rahe.
